This idea was from the WDW Today podcast and we thought it would be fun for me, my wife, blog co-author and his wife to do a Disney Draft as they did. Here is what we came up with.

You have to try to make the best theme park you can by using Disney past or present attractions. Numbers were drawn for order of draft picks. You can choose from any of the categories in any round. Shows are with live performers no audio animatronics. Audio animatronics items are considered attractions ie Tiki Room. The hotel you choose comes with all amenities and restaurants. You can pick 7 attractions, 2 shows, 1 parade, 3 restaurants, 1 hotel, 1 night time show, but only one pick per round. YOU CAN’T PICK SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN PICKED.

So, after completing the draft team 1 has a theme park consisting of, Soarin, Fantasmic, the Beach Club, Finding Nemo the Musical, Star Tours, Peter Pan, Mickey’s Philharmagic, Disney Junior, Festival of Fantasy Parade, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Space Mountain, Le Cellier, Muppet Visor 3D, Via Napoli and Chef Mickey’s.

Team 2 has Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Dumbo, Kali River Rapids, Spaceship Earth, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Dream Along with Mickey, Garden Grill, Columbia Harbour House, Liberty Tree Tavern, Stars and Motorcars Pararde and 4th of July Wishes.

Team 3, Seven Dwarves Mine Cart, Everest, Pirates of the Caribbean, Illuminations, Festival of the Lion King, Cinderella’s Royal Table, Turtle Talk with Crush, Rockin Roller Coaster, California Grill, Under the Sea Journey of the Little Mermaid, Wilderness Lodge, Enchanted Tales with Belle and the Electric Light Parade.

Team 4, choose Test Track, Kilamanjaro Safari, Splash Mountain, It’s A Small World, Summer Nightastic, Move it Shake it Celebrate it Parade, Akershus, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage, Barnstormer, Indiana Jones, American Adventure, Seas with Nemo and Friends, Whispering Canyon, Flying Fish Cafe and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

As you can see, we spent way to much time on this but had a lot of fun doing it and the results were interesting with a few of the picks. Feed back for this article would be great by letting us know what park you would pick to go to. Write a comment below or on Twitter @disneyhelp.
